Congratulations Courtney & Class of 2008!!!

Today we had the privilege of attending Courtney's high school graduation (for those who don't know her, Courtney is John's middle daughter). It was a beautiful summer day and the graduation was outside on the football field at Fremont High School. It got a little too hot for Jackson, so I missed most of the ceremony while I sat with him in the shade, but it was nice nonetheless. This fall Courtney is going to be attending MSU where she will be pursuing a degree in Animal Science.
My class verse from high school was Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Those words hold a lot of meaning for us now with Courtney as well. It's going to be a little surreal having her in East Lansing next year (especially since Freshman aren't allowed to have cars), but we know that God has great things planned for her and we can't wait to see what they are!
Congratulations Court! We are so proud of you!
