Chuck E Cheese

Today was Jackson's first trip to Chuck E Cheese. We went for a lunch/playdate with my friend Carrie and her son Jack. I was a little worried about him being too young for most of the toys/games, but he LOVED it. I'm going to need to teach him how to go down a slide though. Right now he climbs up the steps and when he gets to the slide he just keeps walking. This results in either a) falling sideways and somehow making it unharmed to the bottom of the slide, or b) falling face first and "surfing" down the slide with his forehead. He's a toughy though and just kept going back for more! Below is a slideshow of the fun (note: the big bruise running up and down the middle of Jackson's forehead is not from any sliding incidents. That particular bruise is from his mother opening the door right into his head last week Saturday--again, its' a good thing he's a toughy!!)

One thing that cracks me up about these pictures is the picture of Jackson with Chuck E Cheese. you can see Jackson signing "please" and gazing at his pizza. he was NOT happy that Chuck pulled his high chair away from the food in order to get a picture. you also can't see that the other Jack is off camera incredibly unhappy that I called Chuck over for a picture. He kept telling him "Buh-bye....Buh-bye....BUH-BYE!" not a big fan of the mouse, but par for the course as far as our playdates go!
